INTEGRITY, INGENUITY, INTUITION – With over 30 years of investment and residential real estate experience, Jon Leighton exemplifies resilience and resourcefulness in all market conditions. The economy may have its up’s and down’s, but Jon’s decades of insight and prudent approach to property investment consistently help clients make smart decisions while also protecting their assets.

FORTITUDE – Jon gained his knack for endurance on the soccer pitch, where his continuing passion for the game (and Florida’s year-round sunshine) has allowed him to remain an active competitor into his 60’s, no small feat when you consider the high-impact nature of the game. Though Jon plays with men one-third his age, the intense competition is perfect training for the rigorous real estate market.

LOCAL KNOWLEDGE – Jon began his real estate career in Charlotte, North Carolina, where he earned his license in 1982. Since then, Jon has come to enjoy the benefits of a South Florida lifestyle. A long-time Florida resident, Jon embraces its tropical culture: In addition to soccer, he enjoys swimming, scuba diving, boating, windsurfing, skydiving, fishing, racquetball and kickboxing. As a published artist, many of his other artistic talents include cooking, framing and woodwork.

PERSONALLY INVESTED – A real estate investor himself, Jon has purchased and personally renovated many homes including a waterfront home in the Gomez area. He is an expert on home upkeep and maintenance as well as where to find the best investment properties in Saint Lucie, Martin and Palm Beach counties.

GLOBAL THINKER WITH AN AESTHETIC EYE – Raised in a military family, Jon learned the value of service and discipline at a young age. Moving often, Jon grew up all over the world and called many U.S. and European cities ‘home’ in his youth. He gained a sense of imagination and design by learning about the cultures he visited and seeing with his own eyes many of greatest artistic and architectural achievements in the world. These days Jon continues to act globally, travelling abroad often to gain new experiences and visit his brother in South Africa.

FORMIDIABLE NEGOTIATOR – An undergraduate at the University of South Florida with a Masters degree from Troy State University, Jon has been an avid businessman and entrepreneur in the fields of nutrition, custom framing and professional landscaping. He is an experienced negotiator and knows how to advocate on your behalf.

Jack Walsh, Realtor

Jack Walsh:

PERSONAL – Jack has lived in Chicago, New York and most recently moved with his family from Naples, FL to Hobe Sound, FL. He received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English Literature from Middlebury College, VT and a Master’s in Business Administration from the Hagan School at Iona College.

EXPERIENCE – Jack has over 30 years experience in marketing and sales, first as a licensed salesman on Wall Street in New York, as a marketing manager for Reuters Information Services, and recently as a licensed Realtor in Florida.

COMMUNICATION – After school, Jack learned that a literature degree can be valuable sales tool. Literature is all about human nature and understanding human nature is the first step in being able to communicate with people and sell.

LISTENING – Working  as a licensed salesman on Wall Street, Jack learned the importance of listening. He learned that you need to listen carefully customers to understand what they want and need. This important lesson is serving Jack well in his profession as a licensed Realtor.

ETHICS – All licensed Realtors are bound to abide by the Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice defined by the National Association of Realtors. Jack uses these bylaws as a guide for all interactions he has with property buyers and sellers. Customers should know that all licensed Realtors are obligated to abide by this code and violations are taken very seriously. Jack wants his customers to trust him and feel confident that he has their interests in mind at all times.

SERVICE – Jack’s mission is to provide superior customer service to all of the property buyers and sellers he meets. He feels this helps ensure that every transaction is smooth and less stressful for the customers. This makes it more likely they will use Jack again in the future and also recommend him to others.
